Don't RUIN Your Eggs!

Hi Reader,

Even though my Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs recipe is a staple in millions of homes (with hundreds of 5-star reviews!)...

I don’t want you to follow it.

Wait, what?! 😱

Yep — I want you to use it as a guide to find YOUR perfect egg.

Because just like oven varies, Instant Pot varies (and elevation and the way YOU like your eggs play a role too😉) And with the cost of eggs, we want to ensure PERFECT results.

If you have never made Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs (or if you have had issues making hard boiled eggs in the past), start with ONE egg using my recipe as a guide. Then adjust as needed.

  • Too soft? ➡️ Try 6 minutes next time, with 5 minutes natural pressure release
  • Overcooked? ➡️ Cook for 4 minutes, with 4 minutes natural pressure release
  • SLIGHTLY overcooked? ➡️Cook for 5 minutes, with 4 minutes natural pressure release
  • Live at higher elevation? ➡️ Follow my guide for adjusting any recipe according to your elevation.

Once you find your sweet spot, jot it down — and boom 💥 Perfect eggs EVERY TIME!!!

Farm Fresh Eggs? ➡️ While I personally don't own chickens, my neighborhood has a little chicken farm. So I have tested making hard boiled eggs with fresh eggs often. I TYPICALLY have no issue with peeling the eggs. However, I find if the eggs have been laid that day, they are a BIT more finicky. After a few days old--no issues at all. Diana shared, "I live on a farm and I despaired of ever having a hard boiled egg or deviled eggs ever again. This is a game changer for me. My fresh eggs peeled wonderfully. thank you!"

Happy Cooking!
